mesh. is an exhibition of Combined Materials by Irish artist Colin O’Connor.
Working from his West Cork studio, Colin O’Connor creates patterned works that represent personal memories.
The exhibition mesh. will combine these works along side a new series of table sculptures.
Admission free, all welcome!
Colin O’Connor (aged 26) is a Cork City born artist specialising in sculpture. He graduated from Crawford College of Art and Design in 2012 and has also completed a furniture design course in The Florence Institute of Design International. He has exhibited in a number of shows including Prelude Speaker: Contemporary Castletown, with the Crawford Art Gallery in conjunction with the OPW; Art of the State Exhibition 2013 ‘Encounters’ with the OPW in the Republic of Ireland and the DFP in Northern Ireland; and ‘Layers and Layers’ with artist John Kingerlee at the Wandesford Quay Gallery 2014.
O’Connor lives and works in West Cork.
