Nora CALLANAN is President of Alliance Française de Cork, Ireland since 1992 and Cork French Film Festival Director since 1997. Awarded Chevalier des Palmes Académiques (1993) and Officier de l’Ordre National du Mérite (2007) by the French Government for her work and achievements in fostering Franco-Irish bonds in the cultural and educational field and for her commitment in the development of Alliance Française de Cork over the years. Paul Callanan studied film at Cluain Mhuire, Galway’s Film College and continued his education with a degree course in Post Production at Ravensbourne College of Design in London. He works as a producer, director, camera operator and editor making music promos and documentaries. He has curated the festival for the last seven years.

Vytene LAUCYTE joined the Alliance Française de Cork in 2005 and now is Marketing Manager at AFCork and  Cork French Film Festival Manager. She has a postgraduate diploma in Digital Marketing from Digital Marketing Institute, Dublin, BA degree in Philology from University of Vilnius, Lithuania, and is a CELTA  and DELTA qualified EFL teacher as well as community translator/interpreter (for Lithuanian and Russian speakers).


AFDC__050113_ 0119xx Susanna FABRIS – Cork French Film Festival Coordinator and Cultural CoordinatorSusanna Fabris has a BA Degree in Art and Cultural Activities Management from Ca’ Foscari University, Venice, Italy in 2012. She developed researches on the reality of Contemporary Art Galleries, Contemporary Art museums and Cultural Events Management. She also completed a course in Artistic and Events Curatorship in 2010 at A+A contemporary art centre in Venice.Before joining Alliance Française de Cork team in November 2012, she gained professional experience in several internationally affirmed, contemporary art organizations, such as the Venice Art Biennale, the Venice International Cinema Festival , the François Pinault Foundation in Venice.Susanna enjoys her work at AF Cork as part of the cosmopolitan team, primarily in her role as Cork French Film Festival Coordinator, managing the AF Gallery and Mediateque, as well as admin duties.
