Then Porquerolles is for you! It’s a small island on the French Riviera between Marseille and Cannes.
The island is perfect for a family holiday because there is a lot to do.
Most of the people rent bikes to cycle around. There are different routes of course, some really easy for the kids and some a bit more challenging.
It is also very pleasant to just walk around the village and the island.
Finally, of course, the island is surrounded by beautiful beaches and the sea is really warm in the summer.

2. La Balagne
Corsica has some of the best coasts in France.
The two towns are lovely to visit as well. The beaches around them are amazing and, of course, the water is always really warm.
You can take a coast train to admire the stunning landscapes and get a transfer between the two towns.
Don’t forget to climb the hill in l’Ile Rousse to admire the wonderful sunset!

Palombaggia is probably the most well-known beach of the area but it is definitely not the only nice one: Santa Giulia and San Cyprien are great too.

4. Dunes du pilat
Have you ever considered the south west of France for your holidays?
The area of the Bassin d’Arcachon is really enjoyable.
This is the place where you can discover the ‘Dune du Pilat’, the highest sand dune in Europe.
This impressive landscape is perfect if you want to spend your holiday by the seaside.
